Laying the Radiant Tubing Foam insulation boards are placed on the subslab and covered with plastic. Shown here, the radiant heat tubing is clipped to the foam board. Next the upper concrete slab will be poured over the tubing and foam board. Hot water will run through the tubing causing the concrete slab to heat up and warm the house.
