Interior Doors
The interior doors have finally arrived. They are made of maple (a wood that is not aromatic and does not bother Kathy). Our cabinet maker dyed the wood and sealed it with Crystal Shield. This is preferable to staining since it does not involve strong chemicals, yet has the same effect. The picture on the left shows a closet door and the picture on the right is a closeup of the wood. The wood is closer in appearance to the picture on the left, the picture on the right was taken without a flash and makes the wood appear darker than it really is. May 2, 1999
